Representing at Sacramento Pride
The Libertarian Party has supported the LGBTQ+ community since its founding in 1971. We believe in personal liberties for everyone and didn’t need to wait around (like the big 2 parties) for a political correct climate to force us into treating everyone with respect.
At this year’s Sacramento Pride event on June 10th, the Placer County Libertarians teamed up with Sacramento, Stanislaus, and El Dorado counties, under the leadership of our Chair Jeri Christopher, to create a libertarian presence in the parade and at our information booth afterwards.
A fun time was had by all and, hopefully, we’ve made some new friends who may realize that they are welcome home in the Libertarian Party – the party of respect.
